We are seeking a results-driven Upwork Bidder to manage and grow our presence on Upwork. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying relevant projects, submitting high-quality proposals, communicating with clients, and converting leads into long-term projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Search, analyze, and identify relevant projects on Upwork
- Write customized, high-converting proposals based on client requirements
- Bid strategically while managing connects and proposal budgets
- Communicate with potential clients via Upwork chat and calls
- Coordinate with technical teams to understand project scope, timelines, and costs
- Maintain a pipeline of leads and follow up consistently
- Update CRM / internal trackers with bidding and client interaction data
- Ensure compliance with Upwork policies and best practices
- Support profile optimization (portfolio, descriptions, case studies)
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Upwork Bidder / Upwork Business Developer
- Strong understanding of Upwork bidding strategies and algorithms
- Excellent written English and client communication skills
- Ability to understand technical requirements (Web, Mobile Apps, SaaS, AI, etc.)
- Strong negotiation and closing skills
- Self-motivated with a target-driven mindset
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience bidding for services such as Web Development, Mobile Apps, SaaS, AI, or Automation
- Familiarity with CRM tools, Google Sheets, or proposal trackers
- Experience working with international clients (US, UK, AU)
