Job Purpose

Drive business growth at Pakistan's largest off-dock container terminal by acquiring import-related cargo volumes and managing strategic relationships. The ideal candidate will leverage extensive expertise in logistics and freight forwarding to secure partnerships with key shipping lines, consignees, Freight Forwarders and supply chain stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Business Growth & Market Expansion

Proactively identify and secure new commercial opportunities across all import-related cargos.

Promote AICT’s specialized Container Yard (CY) and Container Freight Station (CFS) services to maximize terminal space utilization.

Design and execute marketing initiatives that highlight the competitive advantage of AICT's on-site Customs House facilities.

Achieve defined volume and revenue targets to drive corporate profitability.

Cultivate and sustain strong corporate relationships with global and local shipping lines. Build deep networks within the freight forwarders and third-party logistics (3PL) sectors. Gather market intelligence on competitor pricing, services, and industry trends.

Job Requirements & Qualifications

Education: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum 10 years of proven experience in business development or marketing within the logistics, shipping, or freight forwarding industries.

Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of off-dock terminal operations and Karachi port dynamics.

Skills: Exceptional negotiation, corporate communication, and relationship-building capabilities.

Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: Rs. 150,000 per month.

Company maintained Vehicle

Fuel Allowance: Provided (as per company policy).

Commission: Performance-driven incentive structure based on volume/business generated.

Other Benefits: Benefits as per Company’s Policy (including health insurance)
