Business Development Executive (BDE)

The Business Development Executive (BDE) plays a key role in identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and driving revenue growth for the organization. The role requires a strong understanding of digital marketing services, CRM tools, and lead generation software to manage the complete sales cycle — from prospecting to client onboarding.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting:

Identify and engage potential clients through CRM tools, online research, networking, and professional platforms like LinkedIn.

  • Client Relationship Management:

Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients by providing solutions aligned with their digital marketing goals.

  • Sales Presentations & Pitches:

Conduct virtual and in-person meetings, product demos, and presentations using authorized software and communication tools.

  • Proposal Development:

Prepare customized business proposals, quotations, and project timelines in collaboration with the digital marketing team.

  • Negotiation & Closure:

Handle pricing discussions, contract negotiations, and ensure successful deal closures in compliance with company policies.

  • Project Coordination:

Collaborate with internal teams (Design, SEO, Content, Web Development, and Video Production) to align client requirements and ensure timely project delivery.

  • Performance Reporting:

Use CRM dashboards and analytics tools to generate weekly and monthly sales performance reports.

  • Market Research & Analysis:

Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and emerging digital marketing technologies to identify new business opportunities.

  • CRM Software: HubSpot / Zoho CRM / Salesforce
  • Marketing Automation: Mailchimp / ActiveCampaign / Meta Business Suite
  • Communication Tools: Google Workspace / Slack / Microsoft Teams
  • Project Management: Asana / Trello / ClickUp
  • Data & Analytics: Google Analytics, SEMrush, and Excel/Sheets dashboards
  • Proposal & Documentation: Microsoft Office 365 / Canva for Business / Adobe Acrobat Sign

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Business Development or Sales within the Digital Marketing / IT industry.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing concepts (SEO, PPC, SMM, Web Development, Content Marketing).
  • Proficient in using CRM and project management software.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Target-driven, analytical thinker, and team-oriented professional.
