Job Description – Business Development Executive (BDE)
Location: Mumbai
Department: Sales & Business Development

Role Summary

The Business Development Executive will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, developing client relationships, and achieving sales targets in the Fire Fighting, Fire Alarm, CCTV, and Security Systems domain within the Mumbai region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through field sales, referrals, and market research.
  • Generate and follow up on leads from consultants, builders, contractors, and corporates.
  • Promote company solutions including:
  • Fire Fighting & Fire Alarm Systems
  • CCTV & Surveillance Systems
  • ELV & Integrated Security Solutions
  • Conduct client meetings, site visits, and product presentations.
  • Coordinate with design and project teams for technical proposals and BOQs.
  • Prepare and submit quotations, proposals, and tenders.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and close deals as per company guidelines.
  • Maintain CRM records, sales pipeline, and MIS reports.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Develop relationships with consultants, architects, PMC, and MEP contractors.
  • Track competitor activity and market trends in Mumbai region.

Qualifications

  • Graduate / Diploma in Engineering, Business, or related field
  • MBA (Sales/Marketing) preferred but not mandatory

Experience

  • 3–9 years experience in B2B sales
  • Mandatory experience in Fire Fighting, Fire Alarm, CCTV, ELV, or MEP contracting
  • Strong Mumbai market exposure is an advantage

Skills Required

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work independently and meet targets
  • Good understanding of project-based sales cycles
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Email, and CRM tools

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,615.61 per month
