Business Development Executive (BDE) – IT Hardware Sales

India

The Business Development Executive (BDE) will be responsible for driving sales of IT hardware products including laptops, desktops, and related peripherals.

Key Responsibilities Areas (KRAs)

1. Lead Generation & Prospecting

  • Identify and research potential customers in the B2B and B2C segments.
  • Use cold calling, email campaigns, and networking to generate leads.

2. Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and product demos.

3. Sales & Revenue Generation

  • Sell laptops, desktops, servers, printers, and other IT hardware products.
  • Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Product Knowledge & Solution Selling
  • Stay updated with the latest IT hardware products, specifications, and trends.
  • Recommend appropriate products and configurations based on client needs.
  • Quotations & Negotiations
  • Prepare and share quotations/proposals with clients.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and close deals profitably.

Market Analysis & Feedback

  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends.
  • Provide feedback to the product and marketing team for improvement.
  • Submit weekly/monthly sales reports and forecasts to the manager.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in IT hardware sales preferred.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Good understanding of IT hardware products and solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
