Business Development Executive – Food Retail

Location: 8-km Thokar Niaz Baig, Raiwind Road, Lahore.
Salary: PKR 40,000 – 70,000 (plus fuel & Sim)

About the Role

We are hiring a Business Development Executive – Food Retail to drive the expansion of our dessert/food retail network. The role includes identifying new branch locations, conducting feasibility studies, coordinating store development, supporting operations, and facilitating franchise growth. The ideal candidate must be comfortable with fieldwork and market visits.

Key Responsibilities

• Site Identification & Market Expansion

a. Identify potential locations in malls, commercial areas, and high-footfall zones.
b. Conduct market surveys, area profiling, and competitor assessments.
c. Evaluate site feasibility based on commercial and operational factors.

• Feasibility & Market Research

a. Prepare financial and operational feasibility reports.
b. Analyze market trends, customer demand, and competition.

• Store Development Coordination

a. Coordinate outlet design, layouts, and approvals with designers.
b. Obtain quotations from vendors, contractors, and fabricators.
c. Support renovation, civil works, and project execution.

• Operations Support

a. Assist newly opened outlets with initial operational requirements.
b. Ensure store readiness, compliance, and brand standards.

• Franchise Expansion

a. Assist in expanding the franchise network through lead generation and follow-ups.
b. Share franchise details with potential investors and guide them through the on boarding process.
c. Support in screening prospects, site evaluations, and documentation.

• Travel & Field Work

a. Conduct regular market visits and site inspections.

Requirements

• Education:

a. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Retail Management, or related field.

• Experience:

a. 2–4 years in Food Retail, QSR, Franchise Development, Retail Expansion, or Site Development.

• Skills:

a. Feasibility and analytical skills.
b. Market research and reporting.
c. Vendor negotiation and coordination.
d. Project management ability.
e. Comfortable with frequent fieldwork.
