Business Development Executive (LinkedIn Specialist)

We are seeking a highly motivated and result-driven Business Development Executive with 3 years of experience in B2B sales and lead generation, with a strong emphasis on LinkedIn-based prospecting and client acquisition. The ideal candidate is performance-oriented, proactive, and capable of consistently converting outreach into qualified business opportunities and revenue growth.

Important: This role involves end-to-end sales process from discovery to closure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive end-to-end lead generation and business development primarily through LinkedIn
  • Consistently generate, qualify, and convert high-quality B2B leads into sales opportunities
  • Own and manage a strong, result-oriented sales pipeline with clear conversion targets
  • Execute strategic LinkedIn outreach campaigns (connection requests, messaging, follow-ups)
  • Identify decision-makers and directly engage C-level and senior stakeholders
  • Achieve and exceed weekly/monthly KPIs including leads generated, meetings booked, and conversions
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth transition from lead to closure
  • Maintain accurate CRM tracking with focus on pipeline growth and conversion metrics
  • Continuously optimize outreach strategy based on performance data and response rates

Performance Expectations (KPI Focused)

  • Consistent delivery of qualified leads per week/month
  • Minimum number of meetings scheduled with decision-makers
  • Lead-to-meeting and meeting-to-conversion ratio improvement over time
  • Pipeline growth and revenue contribution accountability
  • Timely follow-ups ensuring zero leakage of potential opportunities

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3 years of proven experience in Business Development / Sales / Lead Generation
  • Strong expertise in LinkedIn Sales Navigator and outbound prospecting
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales/lead generation targets
  • Excellent communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills
  • Strong ability to convert cold outreach into warm business conversations
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot, Zoho, or similar)
  • Self-starter mindset with strong ownership and accountability

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in IT / Software / SaaS sales environment
  • Understanding of consultative and solution-based selling
  • Ability to analyze outreach performance and improve conversion strategies
  • Experience dealing with international clients
