Business Development Executive – Logistics & Transportation

Job Description:

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Executive to join our transportation division. The role involves managing existing operations while actively developing new business opportunities across Oman and cross-border markets (GCC).

The candidate will be responsible for promoting and securing transportation services including:

• 40 Ft Trailers
• 10 Ton Trucks
• Open Trailers
• Refrigerated Vehicles (Reefers)
• Equipment Rental Services

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in transportation and logistics
• Manage and grow existing client relationships
• Coordinate transport operations (Muscat to Salalah & other regions)
• Handle cross-border logistics (GCC)
• Source vehicles through own fleet and external vendors
• Prepare quotations, negotiate rates, and close deals
• Ensure smooth execution of transport services
• Monitor market trends, pricing, and competitor activity
• Achieve monthly sales and revenue targets

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years experience in logistics / transportation field
• Valid Oman Driving License (Mandatory)
• Strong knowledge of local and GCC transport market
• Ability to handle both business development and operations
• Good communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and achieve targets
• Preferred candidate from Kerala, India

Industry Exposure (Preferred):

• Experience in FMCG, Poultry, and Industrial logistics sectors will be an advantage
