Job Description:

The Business Development Executive is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and promoting supply chain and logistics solutions to achieve company growth objectives. The role involves understanding clients’ operational needs and offering customised solutions that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and strengthen overall supply chain performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the logistics, warehousing, and transportation sectors.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders to ensure long-term collaboration.
  • Conduct market research to analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
  • Present and promote supply chain solutions and value-added services to potential clients.
  • Prepare and deliver business proposals, quotations, and presentations tailored to client requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (operations, customer service, and finance) to ensure smooth project execution and client satisfaction.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to secure profitable deals.
  • Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to the company’s overall revenue growth.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, leads, and performance reports.
  • Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and networking functions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in business development, preferably in logistics, supply chain, or transportation services.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain processes and client requirements.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, Field Visits mandatory and meet sales targets.
