About the Candidate:

We are seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial Business Development Manager to play a pivotal role in a new Oil & Gas venture based in Dubai, UAE.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, developing, and maintaining relationships with refineries and end clients to facilitate successful petroleum transactions. The selected candidate will play a critical role in driving business growth and establishing the company as a key intermediary within the industry.

The position reports directly to the Managing Director.

Core Mandatory Requirements:

1. Qualification:

o Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field;

o A Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.

2. Experience:

o A minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in business development or sales within the Oil & Gas industry;

o Proven track record of sourcing and securing deals with refineries and petroleum buyers;

o Experience acting as an intermediary or deal facilitator in large-scale transactions is highly preferred.

3. Professional Knowledge and Skills:

o Deep understanding of the Oil & Gas value chain, especially upstream and midstream markets;

o Demonstrated ability to identify, develop, and close business opportunities with high-value clients;

o Strong negotiation, deal structuring, and relationship management capabilities;

o Proficient in CRM and lead generation tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite;

o Knowledge of international oil trade regulations and compliance is an asset.

About the Position:

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

o Identify and engage new refinery partners and potential petroleum buyers globally;

o Build, maintain, and expand strategic relationships across the Oil & Gas network;

o Act as the key liaison between supply sources (refineries) and demand entities (clients);

o Lead the negotiation, structuring, and closing of commercial transactions;

o Monitor and analyze market trends to identify growth opportunities;

o Develop and execute go-to-market strategies in line with company goals;

o Represent the company in trade shows, industry events, and client meetings;

o Ensure full compliance with international trade regulations and documentation;

o Provide regular reporting to the Managing Director on pipeline development and deal progress.
