Job Title: Business Development Manager
Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to lead sales growth and market expansion in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B sales, a solid understanding of construction materials (especially tiles and sanitary ware), and established connections with architects, builders, interior designers, and dealers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the ceramic, sanitary ware, and construction material segment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders such as architects, interior designers, contractors, builders, real estate developers, and dealers.
- Promote the company’s range of ceramic tile products to B2B & B2C clients through presentations, meetings, and site visits.
- Generate leads, follow up on inquiries, and convert them into long-term business deals.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to increase market share and brand visibility in assigned territories.
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs in the construction and interior industry.
- Work closely with the marketing, product, and logistics teams to ensure timely product delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Prepare and deliver accurate sales forecasts, reports, and performance metrics to senior management.
- Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events to promote the company’s products and brand.
- Ensure after-sales service and build long-term customer loyalty.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Civil Engineering, or a related field (MBA is an advantage).
- Minimum 3–6 years of experience in business development or sales within the ceramic tiles, building materials, or construction sector.
- Strong industry network and understanding of the project sales cycle.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to read technical drawings/specifications and coordinate with site/project teams.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
- Willingness to travel frequently to meet clients and visit project sites.
