Job Mission:

Drive long term business growth by leading the growth and expansion of Minapharm’s product portfolio through the identification and development of new product opportunities, building strategic alliances, ensuring successful execution of go-to-market strategies and expanding into untapped or underpenetrated markets to deliver sustainable commercial growth.


Duties & Responsibilities:

1- Pipeline Portfolio Management

  • Manage the process of identification, assessment and acquisition of new products and business opportunities to expand Minapharm’s product portfolio in alignment with the strategic business objectives.
  • Oversee licensing, acquisition, and strategic partnership negotiations to secure access to high-potential products and technologies.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to assess unmet needs, market dynamics, competitive landscapes, and regulatory requirements across the region.
  • Work closely with all internal stakeholders such as regulatory, technical and marketing teams to align business opportunities with development feasibility and market requirements.
  • Track and analyze performance of newly introduced products and identify opportunities for optimization and lifecycle management.
  • Build business cases and financial models to support investment decisions, product viability, and strategic initiatives.


2- Strategic Marketing & Products outreach

  • Develop tailored market entry and expansion strategies for high-potential territories.
  • Build and manage strategic alliances with local distributors, agents, and manufacturing partners to maximize reach and operational efficiency.
  • Support commercial planning and forecasting, including pricing, reimbursement, and access strategies in coordination with local affiliates or partners.
  • Monitor trends in the biosimilars and generics space including evolving regulatory frameworks, reimbursement environments, and pricing pressures.
  • Represent the company in external meetings, conferences, and business development forums.


3- BD Team development.

  • Provide coaching and mentorship to the business development team members.
  • Create and implement annual training plans for the business development team members.


Job Requirements:

Experience:

  • Minimum 12 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • 7+ years of experience in business development, or commercial roles within the pharmaceutical industry, preferably with exposure to biosimilars, innovative generics, and CHC products.

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy.
  • Master’s degree in management (MBA or other).

Training:

  • Strong financial acumen with experience in building commercial models and evaluating ROI.

Knowledge:

  • Demonstrated success in launching and scaling products in the targeted segments and expanding into new markets.
  • Deep understanding of global regulatory and market access landscapes, particularly in the biosimilars and generics sectors.
