JOB FUNCTION: The Business Development Manager drives new member acquisition, local community partnerships, and corporate sales across multiple Orangetheory Fitness studios in their assigned market. This role identifies, builds, and maintains revenue-generating relationships, increases external lead flow, and supports studio teams in converting prospects to members. The BDM acts as a brand ambassador, focusing on growth, visibility, and meaningful community engagement.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Development & Lead Generation

Build and execute a DFW-focused business development strategy to drive qualified external leads into studios.

Develop partnerships with local businesses, residential communities, healthcare providers, schools, apartment complexes, and event organizers.

Create and maintain a quarterly outreach calendar including pop-ups, tabling events, lunch-and-learns, wellness fairs, and corporate presentations.

Track, analyze, and report outreach KPIs, conversion trends, and partnership ROI.
Corporate Sales

Identify and pursue corporate wellness opportunities within DFW companies.

Present OTF corporate membership options, negotiate agreements, and support onsite enrollment events.

Maintain relationships with HR, community engagement, and benefits contacts.
Studio Collaboration

Partner with Studio Managers and Head Coaches to align BD strategy with studio needs and membership goals.

Provide weekly updates on lead flow, outreach activity, and upcoming events.

Support studio sales teams in converting externally generated leads.

Assist with openings, milestone celebrations, and regional events.
Marketing & Brand Visibility

Represent OTF at local events with professionalism and strong brand alignment.

Collaborate with regional marketing on digital promotion of partnerships and events.

Maintain consistent brand messaging in all outreach materials.
Operational Excellence

Maintain accurate records in Orangebook, MBO, and Portal systems.

Produce monthly Business Development performance reports with insights and recommendations.

Manage budget for partnerships, sponsorships, and event materials.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

2+ years of business development, outside sales, membership sales, or community engagement experience; fitness/wellness industry preferred.

Strong public speaking, networking, and relationship-building skills.

Ability to work independently, travel between studios, and attend evening/weekend events.

Comfortable with KPIs, activity tracking, and CRM tools.

Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
60K-65K base plus monthly & Quarterly Bonuses
