Job Overview

Upscale Valley is seeking an experienced and result-driven Business Development Manager with a strong background in service-based agencies, specifically within an Amazon service-based agency environment. The ideal candidate must have proven expertise in generating business growth through email outreach, freelance platforms, cold calling, and high-ticket sales closing.

This role requires strategic thinking, leadership skills, excellent English communication, and the ability to manage the full sales cycle — from lead generation to payment follow-ups.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans to drive company growth.
  • Generate qualified leads through:
  • Email outreach campaigns
  • Freelance platforms (Upwork, Fiverr, etc.)
  • Cold calling and LinkedIn prospecting
  • Conduct discovery calls and close high-value service deals.
  • Manage the complete sales pipeline from prospecting to deal closure.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
  • Coordinate with the operations team to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients.
  • Follow up with clients and the finance team for payment clearance and outstanding invoices.
  • Track KPIs, sales metrics, and performance reports.
  • Identify new market opportunities within Amazon services and related e-commerce solutions.
  • Train and guide junior sales representatives if required.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in a managerial role within a service-based agency.
  • Proven experience working in an Amazon service-based agency (Amazon SEO, PPC, brand management, etc.).
  • Strong expertise in:
  • Email outreach
  • Freelance platforms business generation
  • Cold calling
  • Sales closing
  • Excellent English speaking and writing skills (mandatory).
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
  • Ability to handle revenue targets and growth KPIs.
  • Experience in managing payment follow-ups and coordination with finance teams.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with CRM tools (GoHighLevel, Zoho, Salesforce, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of Amazon marketplace services.
  • Data-driven mindset with analytical thinking.
