We are looking for a high-performing Business Development Manager who can take complete ownership of the customer lifecycle, drive revenue, and contribute strategically to business growth in Web Development & Digital Marketing services.

Role Overview

This role requires someone who can think strategically, pitch confidently, manage CRM systems efficiently, and handle customers end-to-end — from lead generation to long-term relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Business Development

  • Lead generation and conversion through cold calling, outbound sales, referrals, and inbound leads
  • Online bidding on platforms like Upwork, Freelancer, Guru, etc.
  • Prepare proposals, negotiate pricing, and close deals
  • Achieve and exceed monthly revenue targets

2. Customer Lifecycle Management (Mandatory)

  • Manage the entire customer lifecycle – lead → conversion → onboarding → retention → upsell
  • Build long-term client relationships and ensure repeat business
  • Act as a single point of contact for clients during the sales phase
  • Coordinate smoothly with internal delivery teams

3. Pitching & Strategy

  • Pitch Digital Marketing & Web Development strategies confidently
  • Understand client pain points and present customized solutions
  • Strong presentation, proposal explanation, and objection-handling skills

4. CRM & Sales Tools

  • Hands-on exp`erience with HubSpot, Zoho CRM, or similar tools
  • Maintain accurate data for leads, follow-ups, conversions, and pipelines
  • Strong discipline in CRM updates and reporting

5. Communication & Coordination

  • Handle client calls, requirement discussions, and negotiations
  • Work closely with Project Managers, SEO, PPC, and Development teams
  • Ensure smooth handover from sales to execution

Must-Have Requirements

  • 4–8 years of proven experience in IT / Digital Marketing sales
  • Strong understanding of Digital Marketing strategies & services
  • Experience in customer lifecycle management (mandatory)
  • Hands-on experience with CRM tools (HubSpot / Zoho)
  • Excellent communication, pitching, and closing skills
  • Experience working with global clients

Sales Portfolio Requirement (Mandatory)

Candidates must share a detailed sales portfolio covering the following:

  • Bids: Platform-based bidding (non-binding / indirect sales)
  • Proposal Replies: Approach and samples (if available)
  • Leads: Direct inbound/outbound leads handled
  • Conversions: Revenue contribution (example: USD 15,000+ conversions)
  • Key Delivery: Experience with SaaS product delivery (immediate onboarding/projects)
  • Timeline: Ability to close deals on instant / short timelines
  • Project Ticket Size: Mention ticket size handled (depends on project scope)
  • Platforms Used: Upwork, LinkedIn, HubSpot, Zoho, etc.
  • Industries / Clients: Brief overview of domains worked with
