Tea Stories is a premium tea brand that crafts "Liquid Narratives." We bridge the gap between scientific precision and the ancient art of tea. Sourcing exclusively from high-altitude single-origin estates in Munnar, our teas undergo 100+ parameter checks to ensure absolute purity. We are currently expanding our footprint across elite resorts and high-end cafes in Kerala, transforming how the world experiences Indian tea.

THE ROLE

We are looking for a high-performing Business Development Manager to lead our B2B expansion. Your mission is to identify, pitch, and close partnerships with luxury hotels, resorts, and premium cafes. You will be the face of Tea Stories, presenting our turnkey business opportunities—from branded retail kiosks to curated sensory tasting installations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Partnership Acquisition: Identify and secure B2B partnerships with Tier-1 resorts and cafes in Kochi and Munnar.

Pitching & Presentation: Conduct high-level presentations to GMs, F&B Directors, and owners, articulating the ROI of placing a Tea Stories kiosk and tasting setup.

Sales Lifecycle Management: Manage the entire sales process from lead generation and initial cold-calling to site inspection, contract negotiation, and setup.

Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for B2B partners, ensuring consistent inventory management and maintaining the "Tea Stories" brand standard at all partner locations.

Sensory Activations: Coordinate and oversee the setup of "Tea Tasting Stations" within partner properties to drive guest engagement and sales.

Market Analysis: Monitor hospitality trends and competitor activity to refine our offering and sales approach.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Experience: 3–5 years of proven experience in B2B Sales, Business Development, or HORECA (Hotels, Restaurants, Cafes) sales.

Skillset: Strong core sales skills (negotiation, closing, and lead conversion) and a solid understanding of luxury marketing.

Communication: Exceptional presentation and verbal communication skills in English and Malayalam.

Mobility: Must be willing to travel frequently between Kochi and Munnar. A valid driver’s license and own vehicle are preferred.

Professionalism: Ability to interact with high-profile stakeholders and represent a luxury brand with poise.
