Business Development Manager - Dealer Network

Role Objective:

To expand and strengthen the Interwood dealer network across Pakistan by identifying the right business partners, securing strategic retail locations, and ensuring operational readiness of new dealer stores in alignment with Interwood’s brand standards, governance, and sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Dealer Network Expansion
    • Identify potential markets and business opportunities across Pakistan to establish new Interwood dealer partnerships in line with the company’s expansion strategy.
  • Partner Identification & Due Diligence
    • Source and evaluate potential business partners through a structured due diligence process, assessing financial strength, market reputation, operational capability, and long-term partnership mindset.
  • Location Assessment & Finalisation
    • Conduct market analysis and site evaluations to identify strategic retail locations that align with Interwood’s retail expansion and customer accessibility objectives.
  • Dealer Acquisition & Agreement Finalisation
    • Lead negotiations and onboarding of new dealer partners, ensuring alignment with Interwood’s commercial terms, brand standards, SOPs, and ERP compliance.
  • Store Setup & Renovation Coordination
    • Oversee dealer store setup including layout planning, showroom development, and renovation in coordination with internal teams to ensure adherence to Interwood’s visual merchandising and retail standards.
  • Team Hiring & Capability Building
    • Support dealer partners in recruiting the right sales and operations team and ensure structured onboarding and training aligned with Interwood’s sales processes, systems, and customer experience standards.
  • Target Setting & Business Planning
    • Develop and assign monthly and quarterly sales targets for dealer partners based on market potential, pipeline opportunities, and inventory plans.
  • Performance Monitoring & Partner Alignment
    • Drive dealer performance through regular reviews, sales planning support, and operational alignment to ensure partners achieve agreed targets and maintain brand and governance standards.

Requirements
  • Minimum Graduate (Preferably MBA)
  • minimum of 5 to 6 years of relevant experience
  • Proven experience in dealer/distribution sales (preferably furniture, FMCG, building materials, retail distribution, or similar).
  • Strong relationship management, negotiation, and territory development skills.
  • Strong understanding of sales planning, target achievement, and dealer performance management.
  • Comfortable with field travel and market visits.
  • Ability to interpret sales data and translate it into practical actions for dealer growth.
  • Strong reporting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
