Job Title: Showroom Business Development Manager (Furniture )
Job Description
FPP BD role will be responsible for driving sales, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. The role requires strong product knowledge, proactive lead generation, and collaboration with internal teams to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Engagement & Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and new prospects.
- Provide excellent pre-sales and post-sales service to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and offer personalized solutions.
2. Product Knowledge & Sales Support
- Develop an in-depth understanding of the company's furniture products, features, and market trends.
- Educate clients on product benefits, material options, and design trends.
- Assist the estimation team by gathering client requirements, budgets, and specifications for sales quotes.
3. Sales & Business Development
- Proactively generate new leads through customer referrals, cold calls, and networking.
- Achieve sales targets by converting showroom visitors into long-term clients.
- Identify potential business opportunities and approach project managers, designers, and developers.
4. Market Research & Competitor Analysis
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor pricing, and emerging market demands.
- Provide market insights to the team for strategic planning and product positioning.
5. Networking & Industry Engagement
- Establish connections with architects, developers, and interior designers.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and exhibitions to enhance brand visibility.
- Organize and host showroom events such as “Lunch & Learn” sessions for consultants and designers.
6. Follow-Ups & Payment Collection
- Follow up on potential leads and previous customers to maximize sales opportunities.
- Ensure clients are informed about the company’s processes and policies.
- Coordinate with finance and operations teams to track payments and ensure timely collections.
7. Company Representation & Registration
- Support in developing and maintaining company portfolios, technical data sheets, and business presentations.
Facilitate the registration of the company with governmental entities, project management firms, developers, and interior design companies
