Job Purpose
To drive business growth in the Travel Retail channel by developing new business opportunities, strengthening key customer relationships, and expanding brand presence across airports, duty-free stores, airlines, and other travel retail outlets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business development strategies to grow sales in the Travel Retail channel.
- Identify and onboard new Travel Retail partners, distributors, and key accounts.
- Manage and strengthen relationships with existing duty-free operators, airport retailers, airlines, and cruise operators.
- Negotiate commercial terms, contracts, pricing, and promotional plans with partners.
- Work closely with marketing and brand teams to execute launches, promotions, and in-store activations.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to identify growth opportunities.
- Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports for management review.
- Coordinate with supply chain and operations to ensure timely product availability and stock management.
- Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events related to Travel Retail.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in Business Development or Sales, preferably within Travel Retail, FMCG, Luxury, or Cosmetics/Perfumes.
- Strong understanding of the Travel Retail market dynamics and customer expectations.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing new markets.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively.
