Business Development Manager Travel Retail

Job Purpose

To drive business growth in the Travel Retail channel by developing new business opportunities, strengthening key customer relationships, and expanding brand presence across airports, duty-free stores, airlines, and other travel retail outlets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute business development strategies to grow sales in the Travel Retail channel.
  • Identify and onboard new Travel Retail partners, distributors, and key accounts.
  • Manage and strengthen relationships with existing duty-free operators, airport retailers, airlines, and cruise operators.
  • Negotiate commercial terms, contracts, pricing, and promotional plans with partners.
  • Work closely with marketing and brand teams to execute launches, promotions, and in-store activations.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to identify growth opportunities.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports for management review.
  • Coordinate with supply chain and operations to ensure timely product availability and stock management.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events related to Travel Retail.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in Business Development or Sales, preferably within Travel Retail, FMCG, Luxury, or Cosmetics/Perfumes.
  • Strong understanding of the Travel Retail market dynamics and customer expectations.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing new markets.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED9,000.00 per month
