Role Overview:
The role is responsible for business development, market intelligence, and opportunity identification across three key sectors in Qatar:

Marine Services
-
Petroleum Services (Oil & Gas / EPC Projects)

Industrial Manufacturing
The position focuses on identifying new opportunities, building strategic relationships, supporting project development, and driving business growth in line with Qatar’s industrial and energy landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Market Intelligence:

Conduct continuous market research to identify upcoming projects, tenders, and investment opportunities.

Build and maintain market intelligence databases covering clients, competitors, and sector trends.

Track early-stage opportunities before tenders are formally issued.
Strategic Relationship Management:

Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including:
-
Government and semi-government entities
-
QatarEnergy and affiliates
-
Port authorities, EPC contractors, and industrial zone operators
-
Act as a key interface between the company and local/international partners.
Opportunity & Partner Development:
-
Identify and engage international technology providers, manufacturers, and service partners.

Evaluate partnership and joint venture opportunities aligned with company strategy.
-
Support localization and import-substitution initiatives.
Project Development Support:
-
Assess technical, commercial, and financial feasibility of new opportunities.

Support management in pricing strategies, risk assessments, and proposal development.

Assist in contract negotiations and commercial structuring.
Execution & Growth Support:

Support ongoing projects to ensure alignment with commercial objectives.

Identify opportunities for scope expansion, repeat business, or long-term contracts.

Monitor market changes and recommend growth strategies.
Candidate Profile:
Experience & Background:
-
Minimum 4-6 years of experience in business development, market intelligence, or strategic marketing.
-
Strong experience in Qatar or the GCC, with proven exposure to at least two of the following sectors:

Marine Services
-
Oil & Gas / EPC
-
Industrial Manufacturing
-
Strong understanding of project lifecycle from opportunity identification to execution support.

Established professional network within Qatar’s energy, industrial, and infrastructure ecosystem.

Education & Language:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Marine, Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial preferred).
