Business Development Officer

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Officer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and driving the growth of our organisation. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a strategic mindset, and experience with CRM software to effectively manage client interactions and sales processes.

Duties

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research and networking.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with potential clients to understand their needs and offer tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective strategies for lead generation and brand awareness.
  • Utilise Salesforce or other CRM software to track sales activities, manage client information, and generate reports.
  • Prepare presentations and proposals for prospective clients, showcasing our products and services.
  • Attend industry events and conferences to represent the company and expand professional networks.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform business development strategies.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a business development or sales role, preferably within a related industry.
  • Identify and approach potential clients for Ethisol’s digital marketing services.
  • Confidently present Ethisol’s services and value proposition.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM software is essential for managing client relationships effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess market opportunities and develop strategic plans.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on achieving results.
  • A degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field is advantageous but not mandatory.
