Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Business Development and Sales
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the residential, commercial, industrial, and agricultural sectors.
- Generate leads and convert prospects into customers to achieve assigned sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and channel partners.
- Solar Industry Expertise
- Promote solar energy solutions, including on-grid, off-grid, and hybrid systems.
- Understand customer energy requirements and recommend suitable solar solutions.
- Stay updated on market trends, technological advancements, and regulatory developments in the renewable energy sector.
- Client Relationship Management
- Conduct meetings, presentations, and site visits with potential customers.
- Provide excellent pre-sales and after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain long-term relationships with key clients and business partners.
- Proposal Preparation and Project Coordination
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and tender documents.
- Coordinate with engineering and operations teams for system design and project execution.
- Ensure timely completion of projects and customer handover.
- Market Research and Competitor Analysis
- Monitor competitors' activities, pricing, and market developments.
- Identify emerging opportunities and recommend strategies to increase market share.
- Develop and execute sales plans to penetrate new markets.
- Channel and Corporate Sales Development
- Develop and manage dealer networks and strategic partnerships.
- Explore opportunities with corporate clients, builders, factories, educational institutions, and government organizations.
- Participate in exhibitions, trade fairs, and industry events to promote the company's products and services.
- Reporting and Performance Monitoring
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales and pipeline reports.
- Maintain records of customer interactions and project progress using CRM systems.
- Provide management with sales forecasts and market intelligence.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering only
- Experience in the solar or renewable energy industry will be preferred.
- Strong sales, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of solar products, net-metering policies, and energy solutions.
- Ability to build relationships and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
