We are an e-commerce growth agency seeking a proactive Business Development Specialist (Outbound) responsible for driving new business opportunities with brands, sellers, and partners within the e-commerce ecosystem.
The ideal candidate understands online selling platforms (TikTok Shop, Amazon, Shopify, Walmart, etc.), can identify high-potential prospects, and thrives in a performance-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Outbound Lead Generation
- Identify and reach out to potential e-commerce brands, online sellers, and product companies.
- Execute outbound campaigns via email, LinkedIn, and other communication channels.
- Build, maintain, and manage a qualified pipeline of prospects.
Client Outreach & Pitching
- Present the agency’s services (e-commerce management, creator outreach, growth services, ads, fulfilment solutions, etc.) to potential clients.
- Understand client pain points and position tailored solutions to improve their sales and online presence.
Market Research & Opportunity Sourcing
- Research emerging brands, trending product categories, and high-growth potential sellers.
- Stay updated on e-commerce platform policies, algorithm changes, and competitive landscape.
- Identify partnership opportunities with creators, suppliers, and marketplace sellers.
Requirements
- Proven experience in outbound sales, business development, or lead generation, preferably in e-commerce or digital marketing.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to pitch and persuade effectively.
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (TikTok Shop, Amazon, Shopify, etc.).
- Experience using CRM tools (HubSpot, Pipedrive, Zoho, Notion).
- Highly organized, self-driven, and comfortable working in a target-driven role.
- Ability to understand products, niches, and competitive advantages quickly.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with e-commerce agencies, digital marketing firms, or marketplace sellers.
- Understanding of TikTok Shop affiliate program, creator-marketing workflows, and marketplace operations.
- Ability to craft outreach scripts, proposals, and quick pitch decks.
- Prior experience in B2B partnerships or e-commerce business acquisition.
