Planning & Forecasting

Assist with buying planning i.e. budget splits, size curves and ongoing planning of merchandise and forecasting of line/category sales, subsequently accountable for sales / GP margin achievement.

Buying Merchandising

Provide buyers with merchandising plans for range reviews including in season buys.

With the range selection and grading from the buyers, entering the orders using the right depth/size curve for each style in each door based on historical sales and buyers’ recommendations

Assess store execution of merchandising plans, recommend optimum space management options (where applicable) based on store trends / category sales performance.

Communicating to concerned departments and stores the merchandising plans

Constant follow up with Logistics on stock deliveries/movement in order to respect the merchandising plans

Supplier Management

Supporting customer service on the coordination with Brands to receive item Master files, convert them into Beside format & upload into system

Supporting customer service on receiving supplier confirmation, update into system & inform Line specialist on the same

Supporting customer service on reconciling supplier information on Sizes/Size codes/Descriptions/Pre-packs / Minimum & Colors

Supporting customer service on sharing and transmitting Sales reports internally and to suppliers

Stock Management

Supporting the Retail Merchandiser on maximizing full price sell through by conducting regular stock consolidations between stores

Supporting the Retail Merchandiser on outlining & monitor promotions/offer in system

Define & monitor carry over items in system in coordination with the head of B&M

Supporting the Retail Merchandiser in planning in season and end of seasons product markdowns in coordination with head of B&M, Retail Ops and VMs

Supporting the Retail Merchandiser on ensuring accurate and timely execution of pricing changes and markdowns.

Manage / maintain stock files accuracy.

Manage / maintain Licenses product tariff files accuracy.

Continuous Improvement

Pro-actively utilize software/systems and identify areas of improvement for further buying efficiency.

Develop with experience to take over buying responsibilities
