Responsibilities

• Follow global trends in fashion and textiles, gather insights and use resources effectively for new product sourcing,
• Monitor and manage seasonal/weekly purchasing budgets in line with company objectives, historical data and sales forecasts,
• Collaborate with Product Management to align order quantities with sales trends and campaign strategies,
• Analyze daily trade performance and ensure timely stock availability,
• Conduct price, cost, and margin analysis to optimize profitability,
• Track and manage order flow from suppliers, ensuring timely deliveries,
• Research and benchmark competitors’ pricing and sourcing strategies,
• Manage vendor relations and monitor supplier performance,
• Ensure product availability for retail and e-commerce channels according to sales projections,
• Collaborate with supply chain, logistics, and planning teams to ensure operational efficiency,
• Prepare and present periodic reports on purchasing activities and category performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Textile Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or a related field),
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Buying or Sourcing within the fashion retail sector,
• Commercial mindset and strong analytical skills,
• Ability to analyze sales and stock data to guide purchasing decisions,
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills,
• Strong communication and vendor negotiation skills,
• Highly collaborative, adaptable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment,
• Proficient in MS Excel and ERP systems,
• Good command of English (written and spoken).
