Summary:

This position will be responsible for purchasing component parts for production, working to ensure that the parts purchased are at competitive market price and delivered within expectation. This position will also identify processes to assist and streamline production, warehouse, and sales departments daily.

Experience in a supply chain and manufacturing environment, a plus
Some college preferred or applicable experience
Strong Microsoft Office skills, experience with ERP/MRP/SAP Systems
Strong communication skills, self-driven/motivated, team player
Able to easily adapt to surroundings in fast-paced environment

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Evaluates requirements and prepares orders using the Epicor ERP system modifying orders as needed.
Track parts shipments and monitoring incoming inventory for prompt arrival.
Monitors supplier performance ensuring that issues related to delivery, quality or pricing are promptly conveyed to the supplier and resolved in a timely manner.
Facilitate problem resolutions related to Purchase Orders with Receiving and Accounts Payable.
Build supplier relationships, participate in RFQ’s/RFP’s.
Reports part outage issue resolutions to the team at the daily production meetings.
Provide quick turn-around/communication for Purchase Order Requests, track shipment until receipt of item.
