We have an exciting opportunity as a scrap metal Buyer.
Basic Job Duties:

Greets and helps customers unload scrap metal

Identifies, weighs, and sorts out different types of materials

Must be courteous and patient with employees and customers
-
Helps with housekeeping during down times
-
Must be willing to fill at other tasks when needed and performing only those jobs on which they have been trained

Will work in the different weather conditions

Responsible for observing and following all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment

Responsible for timely, understandable, legible and accurate paperwork
Minimum Qualifications:
-
Ability to provide quality customer service
-
1 year of customer service experience preferred
-
Able to work in the heat of the summer and cold of the winter
-
Must be able to stand for long periods of time
-
Good attendance and punctuality is a must
-
Analytical and problem solving skills
-
Understand computer basics
Physical Requirements:

Ability to sit, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach and work on your feet for extended periods of time

The employee occasionally is required to lift up to 50 pounds

The employee is frequently required to use hands, fingers; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel or crouch
