Job Purpose

To ensure the timely, cost-effective, and uninterrupted procurement of goods and services required for facilities management operations, while maintaining compliance with company policies and ensuring optimal supplier performance.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end procurement processes for FM materials, consumables, and service contracts in line with company procedures.
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best pricing and terms without compromising on quality or delivery timelines.
  • Prepare and issue purchase requisitions (PRs) and local purchase orders (LPOs) after obtaining necessary approvals.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and update the ERP system (preferably Oracle) to ensure transparency and traceability.
  • Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships and conduct periodic supplier performance evaluations.
  • Collaborate closely with operations, maintenance, and finance teams to align procurement activities with operational needs.
  • Support cost-saving initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement in procurement efficiency.
  • Handle urgent or emergency purchase requirements promptly, ensuring business continuity.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of procurement experience in Facilities Management, Real Estate, or a related service industry within the UAE.
  • Strong understanding of UAE supplier markets and FM-related materials and services.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems.

Job Skills

  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Bilingual (Arabic and English) preferred.
