PROCUREMENT OFFICER

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Officer with a strong civil/construction background to manage the sourcing, negotiation, and procurement of materials and services essential for our projects. The ideal candidate must understand civil project materials, specifications, and vendor markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle procurement for civil construction materials (e.g., concrete, steel, aggregates, plumbing, HVAC, firefighting, MEP supplies, etc.).
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to achieve cost‑effective and quality‑driven outcomes.
• Prepare purchase orders, ensure proper documentation, and maintain procurement records.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to understand material requirements.
• Monitor supply timelines to ensure materials reach project sites on schedule.
• Conduct vendor comparison, market pricing analysis, and maintain approved vendor lists.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and procurement policies.
• Resolve issues related to deliveries, quality, or discrepancies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Minimum 2–4 years of procurement experience in a civil or construction company.
• Strong knowledge of civil materials, suppliers, and technical specifications.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office; experience with ERP systems is an added advantage.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
