About Tiramisu Cafe

Tiramisu Cafe is a vibrant Italian café concept serving specialty coffee, authentic Neapolitan-style pizza, Italian sandwiches, breakfast, pasta, pastries, and desserts. We’re looking for a hands-on Supervisor who can lead the floor and support bar operations when needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily café operations to ensure smooth service and excellent guest experience
• Lead, train, and motivate the team (service staff, baristas, kitchen coordination)
• Support barista operations during peak hours (coffee quality, workflow, speed of service)
• Ensure consistent product and service standards (coffee, food presentation, cleanliness)
• Manage opening/closing duties, shift planning, and staff allocation
• Handle guest feedback professionally and resolve issues quickly
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with management for ordering (bar & floor items)
• Ensure hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness standards are followed at all times
• Support sales targets through upselling, promotions, and improving operational efficiency
• Maintain accurate daily reports (sales notes, wastage, incident logs, checklist completion)

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years experience in a café or restaurant as Supervisor/Shift Leader
• Barista background is preferred (specialty coffee experience is a plus)
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• English is mandatory
• Arabic speaker is preferred
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced café environment
• Strong knowledge of café operations, basic inventory, and hygiene standards
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

• Experience with POS systems and daily cash-up procedures
• Training experience (barista/service SOPs)
• Knowledge of Italian café/restaurant service is a plus
