Job Title

Coffee Shop Supervisor (With Driving License)

Role Purpose

To supervise daily operations of the coffee shop, ensure excellent customer service, maintain product quality and cleanliness, and support delivery/errand duties that require a valid driving license.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day operations of the coffee shop, ensuring smooth opening, shift handover, and closing.
• Lead, train, and motivate baristas and service staff to deliver high standards of service and hospitality.
• Monitor drink and food quality, presentation, and speed of service according to company standards.
• Handle customer enquiries, special requests, and complaints professionally and promptly.
• Organise staff schedules, manage attendance, and allocate duties according to business needs.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the shop, coffee bar, seating area, and storage areas in line with food safety standards.
• Oversee cash handling, POS operations, and end-of-day cash reconciliation and reports.
• Manage stock levels: order coffee, milk, syrups, food items, packaging, and cleaning materials; conduct regular inventory counts and minimise wastage.
• Ensure correct use, cleaning, and basic maintenance of espresso machines, grinders, fridges, and other equipment.
• Support implementation of promotions, new menus, and upselling initiatives to achieve sales targets.
• Ensure all health, safety, and food hygiene procedures are followed by the team.
• Use company vehicle (or own car, as agreed) for tasks such as supply pick-up, delivery to clients, inter-branch transfers, and bank deposits when required.
• Complete necessary paperwork and basic reports (sales, waste, incidents, maintenance issues) for management.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a café, coffee shop, or F&B outlet, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or senior barista role.
• Strong knowledge of coffee beverages, café service standards, and basic food preparation.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to lead a small team, delegate tasks, and work under pressure during busy periods.
• Good numeracy and basic computer skills (POS systems, simple spreadsheets or reports).
• Understanding of food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures.
• Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.

Driving License Requirement

• Valid [UAE] light vehicle driving license (Manual/Automatic as required by the employer).
• Good knowledge of local roads and safe driving practices.
• Clean driving record and willingness to drive for deliveries, supplier visits, and official errands for the coffee shop.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
