Calibration Engineer

Position Title: Calibration Engineer
Location: Jebel Ali, Dubai, UAE

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in performing both in-house and onsite calibration for temperature and mass instruments, ensuring compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 standards and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform in-house and onsite calibration and adjustment of instruments related to temperature and mass measurements.
• Ensure traceability of all measurement results to national or international standards.
• Record, review, and issue calibration certificates with complete accuracy and traceability details.
• Support internal and external audits (EIAC, ENAS, ISO/IEC 17025).
• Maintain calibration standards, equipment, and reference instruments in good working condition.
• Coordinate with clients regarding calibration schedules, technical clarifications, and job execution.

Requirements

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical, or a related discipline.

Experience:

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited calibration laboratory.

Skills & Knowledge:

• Strong understanding of calibration principles related to thermometers, chillers, freezers, ovens, and weighing scales.
• Proficient in maintaining traceability and calibration documentation.
• Good communication and client coordination skills.

Preferred Certifications:

• ISO/IEC 17025 Internal Auditor certification.
• Calibration training certification from recognized institutions.
• Safety and quality management training.
