Camp Boss

Job Summary

The Camp Boss is responsible for the overall management, discipline, hygiene, and smooth operation of the labour accommodation camp. The role ensures compliance with UAE labour laws, company policies, HSE standards, and local authority regulations, while maintaining a safe, clean, and orderly living environment for employees.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the labour accommodation camp
• Ensure strict compliance with company policies, HSE rules, and Abu Dhabi municipality regulations
• Maintain discipline and address employee grievances related to camp facilities
• Monitor cleanliness, hygiene, pest control, and waste management
• Supervise camp staff including cleaners, security, and maintenance personnel
• Coordinate with HR, HSE, and Administration departments
• Maintain records related to accommodation, occupancy, and incidents
• Ensure availability and proper use of camp facilities (rooms, kitchens, dining areas, toilets, etc.)
• Conduct regular inspections and report issues for corrective action
• Handle emergencies, incidents, and conflict resolution within the camp
• Ensure food safety and accommodation standards are maintained at all times

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as Camp Boss or similar role in the UAE
• Good knowledge of UAE labour laws, accommodation standards, and HSE requirements
• Strong leadership and conflict management skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with workers from diverse nationalities
• Basic computer skills for reporting and record-keeping
• Physically fit and capable of managing site-based responsibilities
• Preference for candidates currently in the UAE
