Role Description:

Camp Manager in shall oversee and manage the camp facilities that accommodate workers in the Company. The responsibilities extend to ensuring smooth operations, safety, and the overall well-being of employees staying in the company-provided camps.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of company provided accommodations, ensuring cleanliness, hygiene, & security standards are met.
• Ensure all facilities (water, electricity, sewage, A/C, kitchen, laundry, common areas) are operational and maintained proactively.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules and resolve breakdowns promptly.  Maintain proper waste management, pest control, and regular sanitation processes.
• Maintain updated records of residents, occupancy levels, room allocations, and transfers.  Manage check-in/check-out procedures in compliance with company HR policies.
• Address worker grievances and provide timely support in case of emergencies.
• Monitor worker welfare and support initiatives for physical and mental well-being.
• Ensure full compliance with DM regulations, Civil Defence requirements, and UAE Labor Law related to worker accommodation.
• Conduct routine inspections on fire systems, emergency exits, first-aid facilities, and hygiene levels.
• Prepare for inspections/audits by authorities such as Dubai Municipality, DMCC, JAFZA, or Civil defence.
• Supervise camp staff including camp supervisors, cleaners, security guards, technicians, and welfare officers.
• Develop duty rosters, monitor attendance, allocate tasks, and evaluate performance.
• Conduct training on safety, hygiene, conduct, and company policies.
• Raise maintenance requests for plumbing, electrical, civil & HVAC issues & follow up until completion.
• Coordinate with internal maintenance teams, external vendors, contractors, and facility management teams.
• Maintain inventories for rooms, furniture, equipment, bedding, first-aid supplies, and cleaning materials.
• Control asset issuance, movement, and replacement.
• Arrange transport requirements for workers (pick-up/drop, emergency trips, medical visits, events).
• Ensure compliance with RTA and company rules for vehicle usage.
• Maintain transport logs, schedules, and fuel/maintenance records.
• Coordinate evacuation, first-aid, and emergency response procedures.
• Act as the first point of escalation during emergencies such as fire/medical incidents/security breaches/ power failures.
• Promote welfare programs such as health screenings, sports events, awareness campaigns, and community engagement.
• Support workers with legal, medical, or personal assistance in line with company policies.
• Prepare reports on occupancy, incidents, maintenance, welfare activities & compliance.
• Maintain proper documentation of resident details, permits, inspection reports, and transport data.
• Report violations, safety risks, or operational gaps to management promptly.
