Position Overview

The Campaign Manager will own the full lifecycle of lead-generation campaigns—strategy, execution, measurement, and optimization. This role is focused on driving measurable outcomes: increasing Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs), Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs), pipeline contribution, and return on marketing investment (ROMI). Success in this role requires a data-first mindset, mastery of modern marketing technology, and the ability to align campaign execution tightly with sales objectives.

Objectives of the Role

  • Develop campaigns that deliver measurable impact on pipeline growth and revenue contribution.
  • Drive campaign performance using KPIs such as MQL volume, SQL conversion rates, cost per lead (CPL), pipeline created, and influenced revenue.
  • Leverage the latest marketing tools, automation platforms, and AI-driven insights to optimize targeting, personalization, and campaign performance.
  • Collaborate with product marketing, sales, and revenue operations to ensure campaigns align with business priorities and accelerate deal progression.
  • Continuously test, analyze, and refine campaigns to maximize ROI and pipeline velocity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Campaign Strategy & Execution: Plan, launch, and manage integrated campaigns across digital channels (email, paid media, ABM, webinars, content syndication, and SEO/SEM).
  • Performance Optimization: Implement testing strategies (A/B, multivariate) to improve conversion rates and maximize ROI.
  • Targeting & Segmentation: Use advanced segmentation and personalization to engage key personas in the energy industry (operations leaders, engineers, IT stakeholders, executives).
  • Analytics & Reporting: Track campaign KPIs in real time using marketing automation and BI tools; deliver insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Technology & Tools: Champion the use of cutting-edge platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce, Demandbase/6sense, LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads, intent data providers) to increase campaign effectiveness.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with sales to ensure lead handoff, pipeline follow-up, and closed-loop reporting are seamless.
  • Budget & Resource Management: Manage campaign budgets effectively, ensuring investments deliver measurable pipeline impact.
  • Market Awareness: Stay on top of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging marketing technologies to continuously evolve tactics.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in B2B campaign marketing with a proven track record of driving measurable pipeline and revenue results.
  • Strong expertise in multi-channel demand generation (email, paid digital, ABM, events, and content syndication).
  • Proficiency with modern marketing technology stacks, including CRM, marketing automation (HubSpot), and ABM/intent platforms (6sense, Demandbase, Bombora).
  • Advanced skills in campaign analytics, attribution modeling, and data-driven decision making.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to work cross-functionally with sales, product, and creative teams.

Preferred Skills

  • Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Certifications in demand generation, marketing automation, or ABM platforms.
  • Deep knowledge of SEO/SEM, paid search/display, and conversion rate optimization.
  • Experience scaling campaigns in the SaaS or oil & gas industry.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered marketing tools for content, targeting, and performance optimization.

Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
  • Some travel may be required for on-site client visits & training.
