Captain Waiter

We are seeking an experienced and service-oriented Captain Waiter to join a prestigious 5-star luxury hotel group in Qatar. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a similar position within a luxury hospitality setting, demonstrating strong leadership skills, exceptional guest service, and the ability to manage a team of waitstaffs efficiently. The Captain Waiter will play a vital role in overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring service excellence, and enhancing the overall guest dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support waitstaff to deliver exceptional food and beverage service that meets luxury hotel standards.
• Oversee daily floor operations to ensure tables are attended efficiently and guests receive prompt service.
• Train, coach, and motivate team members to maintain high levels of performance and service consistency.
• Address guest feedback and concerns professionally to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
• Maintain impeccable cleanliness, organization, and hygiene standards in the dining and service areas.
• Coordinate closely with the kitchen and other departments to ensure smooth and timely service delivery.
• Manage table setups, reservations, and special dining arrangements.
• Monitor stock levels of service items and report shortages promptly.
• Adhere to all operational, health, and safety standards.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Captain Waiter or Senior Waiter in a 5-star hotel, fine-dining restaurant, or upscale hospitality venue.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Solid knowledge of fine-dining service standards, menu items, and up-selling techniques.
• Professional appearance and demeanor aligned with luxury service expectations.
• Ability to multitask and perform under pressure in a busy environment.
• Fluency in English is essential; additional language skills are advantageous.
