Carzilla Motors is seeking a dynamic and results-driven
Buying and Selling Team Leader
to oversee and drive the performance of our vehicle acquisition and sales team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the used car market, proven leadership abilities, and a passion for achieving targets. This role involves managing inventory, negotiating purchases and sales, guiding team members, and ensuring a seamless and profitable operation.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Management:

Lead, train, and motivate the buying and selling team to meet and exceed performance targets.

Set daily, weekly, and monthly goals for the team and ensure alignment with company objectives.

Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and development plans.
Buying (Acquisition):

Oversee the sourcing and purchasing of vehicles through trade-ins, auctions, private sellers, or wholesale dealers.

Ensure vehicles purchased meet quality and profitability standards.

Negotiate purchase prices to maximize profit margins.

Stay current on market trends and pricing to make informed purchasing decisions.
Selling:

Supervise the sales process from customer inquiry to closing.

Monitor inventory turnover and coordinate pricing strategies.
-
Work with the marketing team to create campaigns for slow-moving stock.

Ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction throughout the buying journey.
Operations & Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of all transactions and inventory.

Prepare sales and acquisition reports for management review.
-
Collaborate with finance and service departments to ensure vehicles are ready for sale and properly documented.

Monitor market trends and competitor activity.
Qualifications:

Proven experience in vehicle sales and/or acquisition, preferably in a leadership role.

Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

Familiarity with automotive inventory systems and CRM tools.

Knowledge of current automotive trends, makes, and models.

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
