Cargo Coordinator - Travels

Purpose of the Job

To coordinate cargo bookings and documentation for Airlines as part of the GSA operations, ensuring timely and accurate communication between clients, agents, and the airline. The role ensures operational efficiency and client satisfaction through effective coordination and system updates.

Qualification & Education

Diploma or bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business, or Aviation

Experience

3 years in cargo or air freight coordination

Accountability Area

• Create cargo bookings in Airline cargo system

• Coordinate with freight forwarders and agents for bookings and space confirmation

• Issue and update airway bills and related documentation

• Communicate booking status, flight details, and restrictions to clients

• Ensure compliance with airline, IATA, and country-specific cargo regulations

• Follow up on pending shipments, space allocation, and schedule changes

• Resolve client queries and provide support on booking procedures

• Coordinate with the Airline cargo operations team for slot confirmation and planning
