Carpenter

Job Title: Carpenter – Furniture Assembly & DisplayJob Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and reliable carpenter to handle the fitting and assembly of furniture items such as beds, tables, and cabinets. The carpenter will also check available stock, open boxed items, and ensure all furniture is properly fixed and displayed in the showroom.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble and fit furniture items including beds, tables, chairs, and cabinets.
• Inspect stock items that are not on display and arrange for them to be opened, assembled, and displayed properly.
• Repair or adjust furniture pieces as needed to ensure quality presentation.
• Maintain the workshop and display area in a clean and organized condition.
• Ensure all furniture is safely and securely installed.
• Coordinate with the showroom manager or supervisor for daily display and assembly tasks.
• Report any missing parts or damaged items to management.
• Follow company safety procedures and guidelines during assembly and installation.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a carpenter or furniture assembler.
• Good knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and furniture fitting techniques.
• Ability to read basic assembly instructions or drawings.
• Physically fit and able to lift and move furniture items.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
• Team player with good communication and time management skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED1,500.00 - AED2,200.00 per month
