Finishing Carpenter for Fit-out Projects

Job Description:

• Furniture and Cabinet Making: Design, construct and assemble furniture, cabinets and other fixtures using MDF and chipboards materials.
• Material Preparation: Measure, cut, and shape MDF or chipboard with precision using power tools and hand tools.
• Finishing Work: Apply veneers, laminates, or paints to surfaces for polished and professional finish
• Blueprints and Specifications: Read and interpret drawings, blueprints or client specifications to produce accurate and high-quality work.
• Repairs and Modifications: Repair and modify existing MDF or chipboard furniture or fixtures as required.
• Quality Control: Inspect final products to ensure they meet project standards and specifications
• Safety and Maintenance: Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain tools and machinery in good working conditions.

Qualification:

• Expertise in handling MDF and chipboard materials
• Proficiency with specialized cutting and shaping tools, including CNC machines and saws
• Strong attention to details and craftsmanship
• Knowledge of finishing techniques, such as laminating and veneering
