TITLE : Case Management Coordinator - Gaza Response

CONTRACT LENGTH: Until 15 May 2026, with
possibility of extension.
Child SAFEGUARDING:
Level 3: The post holder will have contact with children and/or young people either frequently (e.g., once a week or more) or intensively (e.g., four days in one month or more or overnight) because they work country
programs; or are visiting country programs; or because they are responsible for implementing the police checking/vetting process for staff.
PROJECT SCOPE:
This project is funded by multiple donors seeking to assist vulnerable, unaccompanied and separated children
(UASC) and youth among the migrant community in Greater Cairo to receive better protection services, aiming to empower them for successful transition to self-reliance, access income generation activities and integrate within the local communities.
ROLE PURPOSE:
This position will be primarily responsible for supervision of the case management component under the
supervision of the Senior Operations Officer. This includes building the capacity of case workers and community mentors according to the Save the Children case management common approach.
SCOPE OF ROLE:
Reports to: Operations Senior Officer
Staff directly reporting to this post: Case Workers
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular supervision meetings with each Case worker to ensure the effectiveness of the case management process adheres to the Steps to protect the common approach.
- Conduct regular case file audits to ensure that they are up to date and check the quality and consistency of work.
- Review the case plan for the targeted case load and monitor the case’s span in the
- Ensure the Case management database is up to
- Conduct interviews when needed with high-risk
- Follow-up and monitor high-risk cases
- Manage all the external
- Ensure effective and timely response to Accountability line
- Assign cases to case workers, ensuring case load balance
- Ensure up-to-date forms and tools of the Case Management Steps to Protect approach
- Coach and build the capacity of the CM case workers and
- Follow-up and monitoring high-risk
- Ensure that Case Management is implemented in line with Save the Children’s policies and procedures and adhere to donor requirements and
- Support the line manager in supervisory tasks to mentorship
- Develop monthly reports on case loads, reflecting the progress in the project implementation,
highlighting success cases and document challenges encountered during the implementation of activities.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Educational Background:
Social studies, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology or other related studies.
Essential :
2-3 years of previous relevant experience in the development/humanitarian field with a focus on child protection
- Solid experience in working with refugee children
- Case management experience is a must
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in Arabic and English, written and spoken, is a must.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise and monitor the team’s progress.
- Awareness about the security context and political situation in Egypt for refugees.
- Able to work effectively within a team and/or individually.
- Well organized with strong time-management skills
- Experience in working and pulling out database reports
- Strong communication skills, solid experience in communication with difficult and challenging cases and at the same time experience in communication with management levels.
- Experience in working and coordinating with other sister NGOs.
- Experience in drafting Standards of Procedures (or similar documents) with strong and clear Language is an asset

Desirable:
- Previous working experience with NGOs and in refugee-related contexts.
