Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and customer-focused Cashier to manage all cash transactions accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced FMCG retail environment. The candidate should have at least one year of experience in handling billing, cash management, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle cash, card, and other payment transactions accurately.
  • Process sales through POS (Point of Sale) system.
  • Issue receipts, refunds, and change to customers.
  • Ensure the cash drawer is balanced at the beginning and end of each shift.
  • Maintain proper records of daily transactions.
  • Provide excellent customer service and assist customers during checkout.
  • Follow company policies and procedures for cash handling.
  • Coordinate with the sales team and store supervisor when required.
  • Report any discrepancies in cash or billing immediately to the supervisor.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization at the billing counter.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year experience as a cashier, preferably in FMCG or retail.
  • Basic knowledge of POS systems and billing procedures.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Basic mathematical and cash handling skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Honest, responsible, and detail-oriented.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in supermarket or FMCG retail stores.
  • Ability to handle multiple customers efficiently during busy hours.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED1,200.00 - AED1,500.00 per month
