Responsibilities

• Operate cash registers efficiently, accurately processing retail sales transactions while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and guiding them through product features and store policies.
• Manage cash drawer handling with precision, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed at all times.
• Assist customers with product demos to highlight key features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities to maximize sales.
• Maintain knowledge of retail store products and merchandising to assist customers effectively and promote featured items.
• Stock shelves and organize displays to ensure the store remains inviting, well-organized, and fully stocked throughout the shift.
• Uphold phone etiquette standards when answering inquiries or providing support over the phone, ensuring clear communication and professionalism.
• Support supervising staff during busy periods or when needed, helping to oversee daily operations and ensure excellent customer experiences.

Skills

• Proficiency with POS (Point of Sale) systems for quick and accurate transaction processing.
• Previous supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in a retail environment.
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling, change calculation, and sales totals.
• Strong communication skills to engage customers effectively and relay product information confidently.
• Bilingual abilities are desirable to serve diverse customer needs better.
• Knowledge of retail sales techniques including upselling and cross-selling strategies.
• Experience with merchandising, stocking, and inventory management to support store presentation standards.
• Excellent phone etiquette for professional communication with customers and team members alike.
