Cashier/Retail Counter Staff

Job Summary

The Cashier / Retail Counter Staff is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while efficiently handling sales transactions and maintaining the premium retail presentation of Ladurée. The role requires a courteous, well-presented individual who can enhance the customer experience and uphold the brand’s luxury standards.

Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service

  • Greet customers warmly and provide a welcoming experience at all times.
  • Assist customers in selecting products, explaining menu items, and making recommendations.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through attentive and personalized service.
  • Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally.

Cashiering & Sales

  • Accurately process cash, card, and digital payments.
  • Issue receipts, refunds, and exchanges in line with company policies.
  • Maintain accuracy in billing and ensure proper cash handling procedures.
  • Meet individual and team sales targets through effective upselling and cross-selling.

Retail Counter Operations

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the retail counter and display areas.
  • Ensure all products are well-stocked, properly labeled, and attractively displayed.
  • Monitor product availability and inform supervisors of stock requirements.
  • Follow company standards for visual merchandising and presentation.

Product Knowledge

  • Maintain thorough knowledge of all products, including ingredients and allergens.
  • Promote signature items such as macarons and specialty products of Ladurée.

Hygiene & Compliance

  • Adhere to hygiene, health, and safety standards at all times.
  • Follow company policies and operational procedures.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of food items.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in retail, F&B, or cashier role is preferred.
  • Good communication skills in English (additional languages are an advantage).
  • Basic numerical skills and familiarity with POS systems.
  • Well-groomed and presentable appearance.

Reporting To: Store Supervisor / Outlet Manager

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR2,000.00 - QAR2,100.00 per month
