Job Summary:

We are looking for a passionate and trend-savvy Beauty Buyer to manage and expand our beauty product assortment. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of the global beauty market, a sharp eye for product curation, and the commercial skills to drive performance across retail and e-commerce channels.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Source and select new beauty products and brands across categories like skincare, makeup, fragrance, and personal care.
  • Build and manage relationships with local and international suppliers , negotiating pricing, terms, and exclusivity deals.
  • Plan and execute seasonal buying strategies in line with business goals and market trends.
  • Analyze sales data, customer insights , and competitor activity to inform product decisions.
  • Collaborate with merchandising and planning teams to ensure optimal stock levels, replenishment , and product lifecycle management.
  • Work closely with marketing to develop launch plans, promotions, and in-store activations .
  • Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and brand meetings to identify emerging trends and innovation.
  • Ensure all products comply with local regulatory requirements and internal quality standards.
  • Monitor performance of beauty categories and provide weekly and seasonal reports on sell-through, margin, and turnover.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Fashion Management , or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of buying experience in beauty, cosmetics, or personal care (retail or distribution).
  • Strong negotiation skills and supplier management experience.
  • Deep understanding of beauty trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape .
  • Proficient in Excel , retail systems, and data analysis tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple brands, categories, and collections simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
  • A strong eye for product curation, packaging, and brand storytelling .


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working with prestige and indie beauty brands .
  • Familiarity with Middle East beauty market and regional consumer preferences.
  • Network of beauty suppliers, distributors, or brand principals is a plus.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial retail environment .
