The
Category Manager – Seafood & Gourmet
is responsible for owning the end-to-end performance of the Seafood and Gourmet categories in Oman. This includes category strategy, supplier management, sourcing, pricing, range optimization, food safety compliance, margin delivery, and collaboration with Sales, Supply Chain, QA, and Operations to drive sustainable growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction across HORECA and retail segments.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute the category strategy aligned with Bidfood ME commercial and growth objectives.
Own range architecture, SKU rationalization, new product development, and seasonal promotions.
Lead supplier negotiations, contracts, rebates, and performance reviews (local & international).
Manage pricing, margins, and cost fluctuations, especially for imported seafood and gourmet items.
