Job description:
- Assist in developing and executing category strategies for Household items.
- Conduct regular market research to analyze customer needs, competitor pricing, and product trends.
- Coordinate with suppliers for timely procurement, negotiation of prices, and smooth delivery.
- Support in planning and execution of promotions, campaigns, and seasonal assortments.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure optimal availability across all stores/warehouses.
- Track category performance through sales reports, margins, and stock turnover.
- Liaise with merchandising, supply chain, and store operations to ensure plan implementation.
- Assist in evaluating new product introductions and phase-out of slow-moving SKUs.
- Maintain vendor relationships and resolve supply issues proactively.
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in category management, buying, or merchandising of House Hold products.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and data analysis
