Job Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant to join our firm on a long-term basis. This role offers a unique blend of traditional practice areas; such as Direct/Indirect Taxation and Auditing; alongside exposure to the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC) and Forensic Analysis. Role will also include managing the financial of companies, particularly those undergoing corporate restructuring and liquidation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Taxation & Compliance

Handling Direct Tax (Income Tax) and Indirect Tax (GST) matters, including returns, assessments, and advisory.

Managing TDS, Payroll, and statutory compliances.

2. Auditing & Finance

Conducting Audits to evaluate the effectiveness of risk management and control processes.

Executing Banking Audits (Statutory, Concurrent, or Stock Audits).

Assisting in Project Finance, including preparation of CMA data and project reports for fund-raising.

3. Insolvency & Bankruptcy (IBC) Focus

Assisting Resolution Professionals (RP) in the Due Diligence of Corporate Debtors.

Monitoring and maintaining the financial records of companies in Liquidation or CIRP.

Managing operational aspects like payroll and GST compliances.

Conducting Forensic Audits and Transaction Analysis.

Drafting legal petitions, replies for Taxation and IBC Litigation before various authorities (NCLT, ITAT, etc.).

Candidate Profile

Qualification: ACA (Chartered Accountant). Newly qualified candidates with strong articleship experience in these domains are encouraged to apply.

Technical Skills: Strong grasp of IBC 2016 and GST laws.

Proficiency in Tally, SAP, or other ERP systems.

Advanced Excel skills for forensic data analysis.

Soft Skills: Excellent drafting skills for legal/tax representations and a sharp analytical mindset for detecting financial irregularities.
