Job Description
We are seeking a visionary and experienced Chef De Cuisine to join our culinary team in Rixos Al Mairid Ras Al-Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. As the Chef De Cuisine, you will lead our main kitchen operations, create innovative menus, and ensure the highest standards of culinary excellence in our establishment.

Collaborate with the Executive Chef to design and implement creative, seasonally-inspired menus that showcase both international and local cuisines

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient workflow and maintaining the highest standards of food quality and presentation

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of culinary professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative kitchen environment

Manage inventory, food costs, and budgeting to optimize kitchen efficiency and profitability

Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain impeccable hygiene standards throughout the kitchen

Work closely with the front-of-house team to deliver an exceptional dining experience for our guests

Stay current with culinary trends and techniques, continuously innovating to keep our menu fresh and exciting

Participate in menu engineering, recipe development, and food presentation enhancements

Collaborate with local suppliers to source high-quality, seasonal ingredients

Handle guest inquiries and special requests with professionalism and attentiveness
Qualifications-
Minimum of 3 years' experience as Chef de Cuisine in a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant setting

Culinary degree or equivalent professional certification from a recognized institution

Proven expertise in international cuisines, with a strong understanding of local UAE and Middle Eastern flavors

Demonstrated leadership abilities with a track record of successfully managing and developing kitchen teams

In-depth knowledge of culinary techniques, seasonal sourcing, and global food trends

Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written

Proficiency in kitchen management software and inventory control systems

Current food safety certification
