We are seeking an experienced and skilled Chef de Partie (CDP) specializing in Pan Asian cuisine to join our dynamic kitchen team in Bahrain. The ideal candidate must have strong experience in Asian culinary techniques, wok cooking, sauce preparation, and maintaining high standards of food quality and hygiene. Local transfer candidates only.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook authentic Pan Asian dishes (Thai, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, etc.)
- Manage a specific kitchen section (Wok / Sushi / Hot Kitchen / Sauce Section)
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control
- Maintain smooth service during peak hours
- Monitor stock levels and assist in ordering supplies
- Ensure compliance with Bahrain food safety and hygiene regulations
- Train and supervise Commis chefs
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations
- Follow standard recipes and company SOPs
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a CDP or strong DCDP in a Pan Asian restaurant
- Strong knowledge of:
1.Wok cooking techniques
2.Sushi & sashimi (if applicable)
3.Thai curries & sauces
4.Asian stocks and broths
- Experience in high-volume restaurant operations
- Good understanding of food cost control
- Ability to work under pressure
- Good communication skills
- Currently available in Bahrain for local visa transfer
